Indoor spaces

Hayground’s campus boasts a 3,000 square foot multi-use classroom building. Here, children will activate their imaginations with the guidance of our teachers and camp counselors. These school rooms are transformed into a stage for dramatic acting, space for dance, a music studio and collaborative space for creating art specifically for our campers.  The fully equipped woodshop allows campers even more dynamic ways to build and create.

Within the building is a regulation-sized gymnasium for indoor sports and performances. Kids can play basketball, dodgeball, volleyball, and so much more!

Hayground is also home to Jeff’s Kitchen, a state-of-the-art Culinary Arts Center with a professional chef’s kitchen. Our culinary arts program offers a robust experience, integrating academic, social, and professional skills.

Outdoor Spaces

Our camp resides on 13 beautiful acres of farmland in Bridgehampton. This wealth of green space allows us to host a wide variety of play and activity. The five acres of athletic fields are used for soccer, baseball and other sports. Our playscape offers two acres of playing grounds with sandboxes, Four square courts, Ga-ga pit and discovery paths. During camp, kids can fly on the trapeze, learn how to ride bikes on the two BMX pump tracks, or swim in the L-shaped pool.

We believe in being in harmony with our natural surroundings and offer our campers a chance to learn more about plants and nature within our two greenhouses and three organic gardens. Hayground also hosts a heritage-breed chicken coop.

Bridgehampton

Campers and staff have easy access to the beauty beyond our borders - the ocean, the bay, the dunes - are all in close proximity. In addition to spending time running around at Hayground, our campers take field trips into the local community. Our kids have fun in the sun at the beach, building sandcastles and riding waves. We also have partnerships with local organizations such as the Parrish Art Museum.

While Hayground kids are at camp, our surrounding community has plenty of activities for parents to enjoy. Our grounds are conveniently located near the Bridgehampton Commons for shopping, Bridgehampton’s Main Street for independent art and design galleries, restaurants, as well as yoga and spin studios.
