June 4 Update

Dear Hayground Families,

It’s June! And that means that this is the last of our monthly emails before camp starts. 

Last week, the CDC and New York State updated their camp guidelines and we now have some really reasonable guidelines for this summer that balance social-emotional well-being with COVID safety. 

With those guidelines in mind, we have updated the Parent’s Guide to Hayground Camp 2021. Please read it carefully. It will tell you all about how we are handling masks, drop-off, rain days, and the rest of your child’s Hayground Camp experience. 

In the next week or so you will be receiving final confirmation of your camp enrollment. That confirmation will tell you which weeks you are enrolled for, which group you’re in, what you need to pack for camp, and a bunch of other important details to help you imagine and manage our summer together. 

We will be hosting our final News from the Sandbox (see Zoom link below) on Wednesday, June 9 at 8PM. This will be a one-hour call. This will mostly be a Q & A based on the Parent Guide.
